Audemars Piguet 5093 »Disco Volante,« featuring a stepped 18k yellow gold case with the characteristic thin, wide profile. This example is double-signed by Gübelin, adding notable collectability and provenance. Interestingly, we did not find a similar specimen with the »Gübelin«print being written in the same, semi-circular way as its seen on the watch here. The dial has aged gracefully, showing a light uniform patina and some blemishes around six and nine o’clock. The case remains well defined and shows only light signs of wear. The watch is powered by the manual-wind calibre 2003 movement and comes on a matching period leather strap with Antoine Wenger buckle as well as the original AP box.
